My name is Deborah Acosta. I’m a Graduate Multimedia Journalism student at the University of Miami. I was born in Miami to Cuban immigrant parents, and was raised in the Dominican Republic. I’m passionate about languages, creating videos, writing stories, creating audio narratives, building slideshows, and blogging. I hope to work at a news organization in the near future where I can put all these skills to use.

Deborah:
I teach multimedia journalism at St. John Fisher College (a small school in upstate New York), and one of my students found and linked to in his blog the site you and some classmates from UM assembled a while ago (www.multimediastandards.org). Just wanted to congratulate you and thank you for some nice work and links to good resources. Keep up the good work.
