I shot this video in the outskirts of Bogota, Colombia last summer for a non profit organization called “Un Techo Para Mi Pais.” Their goal is to eliminate homelessness in Latin America and the Caribbean by building temporary homes. In a few months they’re set to go to Haiti, where they hope to help rebuild the country one “techo” at a time.

This documentary is amazing – so good!!!!! I’m so happy you went to the DR and were able to film this and speak with these individuals – i’m taking a class now on international migration so the doc gives an interesting perspective!!

Thanks Christie! So glad this doc puts the message across. It’s really sad that these Dominican-born children have no rights, just because their parents are Haitian. I’ll be presenting the full version at a film festival here in Miami in a couple weeks. Very exciting!
